Member Services

As a communication tool, our web site has the potential to help our church family stay in closer communication with one another. We are exploring many opportunities for the future development of our site. We would like to share with you some of the vision that we have for the Member Services section of our web site. The Member Services area will be for the member/regular attenders of Bible Baptist. It will contain features such as:

• A user-maintained church family Internet Directory, including e-mail addresses, web sites, and other contact information for our church family
• Online-viewable and printable versions of the Church Constitution, Bylaws, and policies
• A forum for online discussion, possibly including discussion of weekly messages or other spiritual discussion from the church family, messages from the Deacon Board, applicable meeting minutes for larger committees, access to BBCmail subscriptions and archives, and other sharing of prayer requests and church family news, etc.
• Wednesday evening prayer bulletins
• Highlights of supported missionary prayer letters
• Bulletin Boards for the ministry leaders of Sunday School, Music, Nursery, Children, Youth, etc.

As you know, this will be a sensitive portion of our web site. We will take the necessary precautions to insure that any information in this area of our site is secure. And, as with most areas of our site, the speed at which it develops or the level to which it is maintained is directly related to church family involvement. We want this to be "our" web site, and that involves you. Please feel free to share your desires and ideas for the Member Services portion of our web site by contacting the Internet Committee or submitting a specific update request.
